South Central Iowa | I agree it is important to factor in opportunity cost of farming it oneself vs renting it out! But in order to make that determination, it is important to know realistic revenue minus direct input costs; what does it literally cost me to put seed in the ground and grow and harvest a crop? After that is factored, I can decide whether it is better to rent out or farm ourselves.
I should add, my ground is not flat, black, and square and would not fetch $300+ lol
