Some reason I thought the added smoke cover actually cools temps. At least that's what happened last summer. Because of direct sunlight?
clouds (or smoke) hold heat in at night preventing frost. We have had lots of episodes with freezing, I have had frost damage in april, may , June, September , and even October on a later crop. there are many, many variables involved other then a 32 degree temperature. |
