well, I guess I believe the big grain companies do have a pretty good idea, and that is why they are holding the basis wide all year, and even now,,,,and,,,, semi after semi load of corn keeps rolling into the ethanol and grain terminals from the countryside every day in spite of the price being too damn cheap and wide basis.. Guys are taking it. And the big grain co's know just how much it takes to get it in their hands. There must be a large computer somewhere in Chicago that tells them how we think out here in the hinterland, and how much it will take to get it.
