East Central SD | Many years ago I attended a farm sale about 20 miles from home. I don't recall if I was after anything but I know I came home empty-handed. About a month after the sale the owner called me, sounded half irritated, and was wondering when I was going to come get the straw bales I had bought. I told him I hadn't bought the straw and wasn't even around when it sold. The phone was quiet for a few seconds and he finally said, "ohh..... I think I know what happened".
