NE Nebraska | We have the Decra brand of steel shingle that looks like an architectural shingle. We were told to make sure the installer had done it before as the quality of the installation is key to structural integrity and having them lay flat, especially if you have a lot of dormers or valleys. Also, if you're thinking of installing sky lights or sun-tunnels, now is the time to do it. I'd think it would be more difficult installing later with a steel roof.
