The screws are all covered on the Terrabella shingles and they screw direct to the sheeting. I think the Decra shingles have exposed screws and require battens to nail to.
I've installed "barn" roofing on old farm houses and it works ok. Occasionally need to fix a leak from an exposed screw that didn't get tightened properly. | |
