From my conversations with the buyers we use, you have described what is going on in a nutshell.
Too many feeders trying to feed Steins like colored cattle.
Seen it first hand, friend of mine decided a few years ago to "branch out". Had some steins fed out by a operation that had only fed coloreds, I'd be understating the situation if I said it was anything short of a disaster.
Did anyone listen to Market to market-Steins
