I shoot a 204 Ruger.

Of the group I go with, you will find 204 Ruger, 223 and the 22-250. 204 and 223 kick the least, can watch the hit through the scope. 204 is flatter and slightly more range than 223. 22-250 i would say a hare flatter than the 204 but less than some would make you believe. I cant usually see my hit when shooting friend 22-250 and it has a heavy barrel.

Those are the 3 I'd recommend. It shooting very far there are some better, but I would call them fringe prairie dog rifles.
