IF they reduce consumption of those products, it could hurt exports.

If they just shift sources and total demand is not reduced, then in the end not much will have changed.

Would have to agree with Mr. Burns....IF China needs to eat...and does not buy beans from the US...i.e. buys them from SA...it should just displace and make our beans available to other importers and they will need to come to the US.  This will not be normal short term...IT will be uncomfortable as price swings will be over done to the down side and up side.

Trump....just seems to hold a grudge and can not let it go...When/IF the market drops off...there will be plenty of blame to go around.

For now ...be positive and get your self in a position to handle the unknown.  With the rally we have just had...it might be good to get  some hedges on (a percentage) likely different for each grower.
