It would be terrible on us. Imagine all the store shelves half empty or more and no more products coming. The loss in the transportation and retail services would be large. The disruption of our personal and electronic goods supply chains would hurt Silicon Valley. Even college towns with large numbers of Chinese students would see big layoffs. I assume those students would be kicked out or at least couldn't afford to go anymore.
