Redickville, Ont
I would say **** luck. I broke city girl and brought her back to farm. She lived on farm for couple years to make sure she liked it and got married and on our first baby. She has nothing to do with the farm. She has helped out once while but she's a optometrist and owns here own office so she's busy too. Things are different then when I was a kid but having two sources income I think is the right idea. She looks after herself and baby and thats all I ask of her. It's tough at times cause where so busy. She had to go to work one day and baby sister was busy and mom was at work and it was in middle calving season so my son and I figured it out. He was 10 month old then and I needed to milk a cow for a calf that had trouble with one of the front legs and couldn't stand well so we improvised. It's going to be an adjustment that's for sure but think that helps keep them around.
