There are alot of things that are said to really pay in cattle, just like in farming doing too many of those things will make you broke.
I thought this statement was interesting. Went to a feed meeting last winter where they had speakers all trying to sell their product. If I would creep feed, use an implant and use long range every speaker said I would wean a heaver calf with their product. So if I add all three products to my program, I figured I should gain at least 150 lbs on a weaned calf, according to how much each product was supposed to add for lbs. I didn't fall for their sales speaches. Although I did try long range for the first time. |
