Board is being seriously manipulated by computer programs that are perhaps making some insiders wealthy but it is all happening on the back of the guys owning and caring for the cattle. There was some who were trying to make a time delay on trading and the rich insiders knocked that down. I know there is some very dirty stuff going on in the commodity trading and that needs to be cleaned up. If the traders were the dollar a head checkoff every time they traded, they would at least help pay the cost of promotion. I know feeders need protection but there is something very dirty and wrong going on in commodity trading.
Everyone else is working and providing something to help make beef but some in the commodity markets are just in there manipulating the markets.

Daddycal, you say it's a big scheme, but had you sold feeder cattle futures this spring when calves were still 1k per head you would be made whole. The dang tools work pretty good..... If you USE them!
