"We both agree that the fence needs redone."

Okay, so who is the "we" ?  Are you and the other landowner in agreement?  are you and the other renter/cattle owner in agreement?

Who is responsible for the fence - the guy who rents the pasture?  the guy who owns the pasture that is rented out?

The other question running thru my mind..... if your crops are damaged, what is the process for you to collect those damages?
