| Good job no risk equals no reward. Every area is different but in many areas it is so hard to pick up ground, especially close to home, that it is worth always worth a shot assuming it wont break you in a year or two. Many negative posters on here don't realize the competitiveness in some areas. Also talked with a farmer the other day who owns several acres, said none of it cash flowed when he bought it WHICH IS WHY HE WAS ABLE TO BUY IT! Every farmer in this country wants more ground that will cash flow and easy make a profit, if you aren't willing to take risks you will never get rewarded. Of course there are those who inheritt well, but that is a different story. | |
