I'm just saying in general, why don't people just buy the board and gamble in that fashion as to push cash rents to levels well into loss territories from the beginning. Just like you say, if our only hope for higher prices is a crop shortage from Mother Nature and a guy doesn't have anything to sell, farming it sure won't help. So in reality being long the board is a better play than renting a farm for a loss right off the get go. | |
