Agtalk will be a ghost town if it ever actually gets that bad. Probably nobody outside of the Red River Valley will be still in business.
Edit to add, I know that less than a 5 minute drive from where I'm sitting, a farm that brought $2710 in 1981 shares a fence line with a farm that brought less than $1000 in 1985. Second-to-last bidder on the first one bought the second one, for I think $980, and that family owns BOTH farms now.... Timing is yet again the trump card.
