It's exactly what we should be waiting for. It's hard to go against the trend since we do business with in it. But if a part of your operation can be making money when grain is tanking there is often a reward. Putting up with being called stupid can be financially rewarding. Lots of different folks own land these days and many are sensing that this party has ended and may be looking at other deals - many are not farm related and see wallstreet banksters as a more reputable place to have money if "happy days are here again". It's not that there is no money at all to buy land, but there is much less of it or probably more accurately less desire to buy. I wonder how some of these 'smartest guy in the room' huge land deals are going to play out once negative returns materialize (I think those guys thought rent was going up).
