I would be a buyer if any of my rented farms came up for sale. 25% down should cash flow the mortgage payment. I am saving for this as I know at least one will be available in less than 5 years. I would not be buying average or below average farms now just to have my name in the platt book. I would consider the once in a lifetime type dirt and the piece next door.
