Then here's what I would do:
Buy him some rural king seed
Spray it once with generic roundup
Don't make him put any fertilizer on
He will be so happy that you saved him so much money!
Then...next year after he sells his terrible crop , he might have more respect for you and the way you do things.
Either way...you still get paid for your work.
