Missouri | I wouldn't argue against that at all if u have mostly rectangular fields. As it is with most things in farming it's a where u are kind of thought. Most planters I deal with are in odd shaped fields with contour terraces and lots of point rows so it's a no brainier to get the section as small as possible. I was just trying to point out how I look at it especially with a customer if they are a little hesitant to show them how the return works out. With 16 row planters in this area u can see up to a 10 percent payback with clutches. I've seen it first hand. Sometimes it just takes a few more numbers in front of guys to make them understand the difference especially with expensive as seed is since we first started putting clutches on. | |
