Leesburg, Ohio
I would agree with 150pilot.

Not sure where all the thinking regarding generators comes from...that is the most expensive way to make killowatts there is. Now, we don't have anything bigger than 6000bu/hr. equipment, but we have two setups with legs, drags, dryer, air system, and run them both on rotary phase converters. Just how its done everywhere around here in most grain setups, except elevators in town. I use single phase fans so the rotophase doesn't have to run all the time just to run fans in the off-season. Legs, unloads, conveyors are all three phase. eBay is your friend on three phase switch gear.

Both main locations are on natural gas, and we have saved big dollars every year as compared to our other locations with propane.
