East Central Ia
We just completed a major upgrade at our bin site last summer.

We only have single phase power and opted for some VFD's to run three phase motors.

We added five VFD's to run our new dry leg and dryer.

Even my dryer installer commented on how slick the VFD's are. There are rebates from my power company to purchase them as well.

So my point is... I was thinking not having three phase was a huge disadvantage but now I'm perfectly content with my setup.

VFD prices have come down and they are SOOOOOO versatile!

I think we spent 14k on 4 - 30hp VFD's and 1 - 10 hp VFD.
