I am 65 my wife is 63. She is a teacher I farm couple hundred acres plus couple off farm jobs. Several years ago we both commited to health an fitness. Today we still are able to do what alot of fit 40 year olds can. My suggestion is a mixture of intense walking with some running mixing in biking as time permits. To me the most important thing is strength training. I believe people need total body workouts including core and streching. Every muscle should b worked one day a week. A trx is a great at home body weight device plus there are probably others. We both belong to a y because it is convienent. Good luck. U wont regret it
