Dearfield Co. | My guess is that unless you live in a clean air state the levels of ethanal aren't what it states on the pump . Locally e10 is $2.79 per gallon and $2.49 for unleaded. When I get into the midwest I see similar prices and know for a fact of one coop that when the blending credits stopped its e1o consisted of 5 gallons of ethanol in 6000 gallons of fuel. And that went to the president of the local farm bureau . Maybe some of you that think its better than sliced bread should come out here in the winter and try some of the fuel out of the refinery in Commerce City and see just what happens. We have been forced to run the blend since mbne was outed in the late 80s it seems and that is when I figured a mechanical fuel pump had the life of 2 days on my old mustangs | |
