NEIN | Growing wheat is fun about one year in five when it yields 80 bu to the acre and has a 62 lb test weight and the price is 7$/bu. The other four years its hard to get planted on time , gets to wet for it at some point, winter kills from ice, and is a bear to harvest because it either goes down or gets rained on when ripe and loses quality. I would rent a dozer/excavator and make the farm one big field, that will do more for your profitability then any rotation ever will. | |
