EC North Dakota | That head in the sand comment was a bit uncalled for.
The chart is bs. When I was 197, I had a physical and asked the doctor if he thought I needed to get down to the chart. He said well you're not fat no matter what the chart says but what do you do to get the muscle. Well...I carry calves and bales Jan-March. Lift seed bags from April to June. Walk fields all summer, do chores all Winter.
On the other hand...I no longer carry calves or bales, all our seed is in bulk now, and I don't do chores anymore. So.........when I hit 250 this Winter I finally figured out I've had my head in the sand for too long!!!
I've lost 35 lbs so far but if I get down to 150 my wife will kick my ass out the door! | |
