Almost all wheat in this area follows soybeans. This year all of it is low test weight and has vomotoxin. The dock for test weight this year is 5X what it has been in the past. Patrick

Just curious:
1. What was the fungicide treatment(s) and when?
2. Was the vomitoxin worse in the fields that yielded the best?
3. What were the yields?
4. What was the moisture at harvest?
5. Was it rained on after maturity?

I can only tell you what the more successful guys do here. Assuming you hit the 2-3 day window that you have to get the fungicide applied, about all that can be done is harvest properly.

Combine early and be willing to dry it. Every time it gets rained on it loses TW. Crank the air to blow the FDK's out the back of the combine.
