Tenn Valley | Wheat input cost are the same or more & the price has decreased from $6.50 + to less than $4.50. We all take pride in growing the Best Crop we can - & it takes inputs & good management to make 80 bu wheat and more. We just aren't rewarded for growing it with this price - at All. I'm sure a lot of Tyson chickens will be eating cheap biscuits this Summer! If the Market is telling us they don't want Soft Red winter wheat, let's find something else! | |
