Sorry I was using soil and ground as the same.
The way to look at fungicide is aerial applied this year costs two bu. Ground rig 1 bu but you will lose 2% of your crop. We consider the fungicide as insurance. It's not hard to turn 30 bu wheat into 20 just because you didn't use it.
