Pedee, Oregon | Just remember it is a very small world. The choice is to face the problems you know or go look for new problems. Also, there are never any less problems.
The coasts are filling up with people and farming is not a priority anymore. I thought the Oregon coast was to crowded and I fled to the Willamette valley to try to start something. I may succeed in starting something about the time I retire. Horribly hard to walk away from the farm your ancestors started, but I know my grandfather would have left if he could have.
I know a bit about your area as I have a cousin from "here" who lives in Fredricksburg, she is a cop there. I know I couldn't handle the people and try to farm.
