ECIL | A good part of the Willamette Valley is as you say. Development is running up the cost of some pretty high quality irrigated farmland. My wife grew up between Salem and Silverton and it is unreal what her parents small place is worth. Makes it hard for the one brother who wants to farm it. At this point the siblings are all in agreeance to give him a heck of a deal on the place when her parents are gone.
