NS Canada | Our coyotes are larger up here than yours down south, but even ours don't cause trouble at calving - and I calve in and against the woods.
They will however get the cattle worked up the odd time, So I will shoot one if they pop their heads out, but they've learned to never cross open fields in day light it seems. You only ever hear them at night and catch them on game cameras.
