Kingston,Mi
I would plant the GMO for my use and plant non-gmo and of course that would include any variety that that was developed by any form of mutagenesis. John Laughnan, corn breeder and researcher at University of Illinois found and popularized the super sweet mutation in corn that had been subjected to nuclear radiation. Prior to this, mutations were caused by x-rays, chemicals etc. and studied for favorable traits So to satisfy the populace, find a heritage sweet corn no newer than Abraham Lincoln so as to eliminate any possibility of experimental genetics based in science and rely strictly on favorable random crosses. remember to smack your lips loudly and comment on how "sweet it is" when you eat your super sweet corn.
