The video of Money as Debt part 2 actually covers a lot of the text portion of the explanation I linked to. Of course the video has to keep things very simple to keep peoples attention and not get bogged down in details. The text portion where he explains the disputed parts gives a more detailed explanation of where he simplified things that caused some to question the accuracy of what he was portraying and his justifications and explanations why he thought the video still correctly represents real world application.

Lots to be learned there. Probably more than most ever wanted to know.
