This sounds similar to what the University of MO studies have found. For waterhemp the seed needs to be buried deep. They are saying if a person is going to use tillage for weed control a one time plowing is best, as subsequent deep operations will bring the seed back to the top. The plus is waterhemp seed is fairly short lived, after 4 years only 10% of seed is still viable. Patrick
