I really don't care if guys cut back on fertilizer or not, I personally am not. I really don't see how it will be gaining them anything in the long run especially on owned ground they will be farming for the long term. I guess it would be in my best interest if everyone but me quit applying it all together.

We have never fertilized beans and we have higher beans yield than most around here, at least according to what they tell me.  Not bragging as our corn yields aren't what we think they should be.  (similar or lower than what neighbors say).

I agree with the poster below.  The last few bushels cost the most.  I want to be profitable.  I don't need to brag about my corn yields, I just want to pay my bills every year with some left over.
