East Central Ia
grid sample and vrt are going to be great ways to save some fertilizer money this year... IF your soil tests are variable.

Mine are variable and I have about about 15% of my ground that needs zero Map/Dap spread. All but 23acs needs potash.

I am putting on a one year removal plus a slight build and its costing me $78/ac in P&K.

I am getting my fertilizer in semi loads and saving $30-40/ton.

Your fertilizer costs seem high to me.

My math says your cost is $625/Ton MAP
My pricing is $527 if I pick it up and I spread it.
Or $573.5/Ton VRT Spread.

The Potash comes out to $500/Ton
My pricing is $439/Ton picked up and I spread it.
Or $485.5/Ton VRT Spread.

In my opinion you can't cut your way to a profit... especially with the big three fertilizers. If you want to cut something I would look at the Micros and possibly the AMS. But the AMS is going to be a source of N so you need to factor that into your total N costs as well.

If you need to work out what you are comfortable spreading inside your budget and do that. But unless all your soil tests are H-VH I would not cut that application completely.
