| If you look up the law of biogenesis which basically states that life comes from life and that of its kind and yet can argue that evolutionists don't need that law to be suspended many many times through their imagined history of evolution I think it is you that is being closed minded. The evolutionists have no better explanation for the beginning of life than that it began from nonlife in some primordial soup and that each and every new species came from a mutation of a previous dissimilar species, not after it's kind. Then there is the law of cause and effect, the first and second law of thermodynamics, and others. Until the last half of the 20th century science was not really at odds with religion. However the very definition of science was changed to purposely exclude anything supernatural, relying only on "natural explanations" for cosmology, biology and such. So science has been relegated to the "Big Bang" theory and Darwin's theory of evolution for which there is precious little evidence and keep needing to be modified to fit the evidence. | |
