Subject: Value Of Burnt Corn Stalks

Central IL
I had approximately 4 acres of corn stalks that got caught on fire by the house adjacent to the field. Lucky the corn was out but curious about how everyone else handles these types of situations. I don't want to be a jerk but I am tired of all the houses I farm around showing no respect for my ground(driving in field, trash in field, etc) What is the value of 225 bushel corn residue? Is it worth billing the people who started the fire? The Ag phd nutrient removal app shows a 225 bushel corn crop having 36 lbs of P and 248 lbs of K removed by the stover. Is this the amount of fertility lost? Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.
