Will some of you guys who believe burning destroys a lot of nutrients please reference some research to support your opinion. I've never found anything to indicate such is the case, and I certainly haven't seen any ill effects in practice, and a lot of people around here burn. The best corn farmer around burns every acre every year.

IM sure there is a considerable difference between the hills of iowa and Louisiana but i have seen it first hand several different times. Seems every other year someone has a fire get out of hand and burn a field of mine. If it gets remotely dry the following year you can see it to the inch.
