Downtown Shell Knob MO Come Visit!
How do you MANAGE residue in COC??? please for Gods sake dont tell me tillage of COC stalks is a better managment system than burning? Do you actually feel that fall tillage of residue is better for the carbon cycle of soil than fire? For the record, I dont burn.
I just educated myself a lot on nutrient release of fire vs carbon release of tillage after that stupid hefty brothers segment a couple years ago with the minnisoddddda research that showed major P and K removal which just isnt true .
