| I had goose necked corn like that several years ago. I harvested this field first, as soon as the moisture was down to 30%. I wanted it harvested before the stalks were completely dead. If the stalks break off at soil level it will not feed into the head. I also harvested the whole field in one direction.with the stalks leaning to the right of the header. It was hard to keep on the row. My biggest suggestion is harvest early while there is some life in the stalks. | |
