Subject: RE: Early Kansas yields again

WCMO-SWMO Area
Great yield...There will be lots of 150-200 bushel dry land corn in eastern Kansas and western Missouri..Yield checks on my farm shows 190 plus bushels per acre with lots of 16 by 38 and a few 16 by 40 ears...I usually take off some so 180 would be great.....It was done on light soil with a little over 11 inches of very timely rains....For a change most everyone had a perfect stand with no drown out or wash out places....Lots of corn is already harvested in southwest MO and southeast KS..

Havent had a good rain since August 7th so the beans are in trouble..For the year we are over 13 inches short on moisture...10 year avg rain is 41 inches and this year we have had 17 inches...
