Sorry my friend. Peak corn is a fantasy. The American farmer will continue to find ways it improve yields. Acreage may vary from time to time raising or lowering production but as a whole yields will continue to rise. Personally, I don't know anyone in my area who is not surpassing yields at least 20 bu versus ten or fifteen years ago. That isn't to say that there aren't years where weather trumps all and we end up with a 2005 or 2012. The point is my yields are even higher now than they were four years ago. We keep pushing the envelope. You guys that keep banking on Mother Nature to smother yields on a yearly basis are in for a rude awakening.
