Minnesota/Kentucky fertility based on ENERGY
I have a simple question who really thinks that organic is really that low of yields? the family farm which I have taken over three years ago has been kept organic and this year looks like 50 plus BPA soybeans, we have weighted 180 BPA corn form the farm in years past! as well as 90 BPA corn and we saw some yields a two conventional peace's last year that made organic look great! but several things play in to the yield issue; hybrid choice, fertility, and Mother Nature, I really doubt that anyone would really starve on a global level and the largest reason third world counties have yield issue are due to the lack of nutrition, "Do nothing there for we get something" I see the world changing and organic, Non-GMO, and GMO are going to have to get along and I believe we need to educate the consumer or they will educate us.
