The dunes even when pushed flat are hard to farm. But the flat ground along the rivers even though its pure sand is 300 bushel ground if you can keep the water and fertilizer to it every day. The highway between burwell and ord is a good example of this. Kind of makes people talking about healthy soils look silly when all you need is a growth medium water and fertilizer.
