Subject: Running a harrow after planting wheat?

I direct drilled some spring wheat in my wettest field Friday and finished Saturday morning. It rained as I was finishing up, and gave a few good showers after that.

Much of the field is in good shape, but there is a larger percentage than I like that even the coil tine harrow behind the drill could not close the seed trench. I used a strip till with coulter and tine in front of my hoe drill. I have a near new heavy 3 bar coil tine harrow and rubber tires behind the hoe drill.

This is what the wetter parts look like.

You can see the seed sitting uncovered in the rows.

So now my question is, how much longer can I go before it is too late to harrow this over? Or is it too late now? I don't know if it will rain Monday or not, but I know rain is coming very soon, and I'd have to find a harrow to rent, so maybe a day or two.

 Thanks.
