We had a short corn crop in the US, did anyone really expect us to sell the world what we didn't have? Price rationing is still taking place especially in the corn market.
Beans are off their highs by 4 bucks, which is very well in line with the better than expected bean yields. They may go lower however basis and inverses make me suspicious of that.
Seems that world demand is still strong.
No matter where the crop is sourced the fact that there is still strong demand is a good thing.
SA weather scares are not usually "in the market" at this time of year. They may not be this year either. No one knows for sure. Slam dunk records yields from SA are not guaranteed yet. Expecting business friendly decisions from the Socialist government of Arg. is risky in my opinion.

Gooooood times on the farm have been around allot longer than I expected but so has great demand.

We've gone through a long period of good weather being the norm in this country, but after the last couple or 3 years one does have to allow for the possibility of a new norm. New norm being more volatile weather.
