EC Nebraska
You ought to come to Nebraska where we have not had any rain all fall. Some cities in central and western Nebraska are going to have their driest year EVER. I know, we are going to plant a zillion acres, however I heard that all last year. I remember when my grandparents were still around and they said after 1934 it couldnt get anyworse, it justs has to rain. Well, it didnt, the drought went out for 2 or more years after that. The point being is that much of the center of the country is in a historic drought and I hope it does rain next year, but to believe its going to end because we cant have 4 years of below trend on corn yields appears to be foolhearty until we see a major weather pattern shift.
